Chapter 40 I'll Send You a Baby
Chen Hui pushed the door open and went in.
Lin Jiao, An Wenjing, An Wenyi, Chen Huihong, Wu Si, Huang Miao, and Huang Miao's parents.
A group of people poked their heads out, stood up, and looked towards the door in unison.
"Aunt! Why are you here?!"
Chen Hui looked at the precarious round table. There was a cup of tea placed in front of each person.
There were a few teacups, which looked like they were borrowed from Chen Guogang's home.
"You dare to say that? I'm going to beat you up! You went to the county town to sell fish and you're gone."
Chen Huihong stood up and raised her hand as if to hit him.
Chen Hui twisted his waist and dodged to the side, "Aiya! There are so many people here, please give me some face."
"That's right. I'll deal with you later."
Chen Huihong pulled Chen Hui and sat down on her stool.
Wu Si stood up tactfully, sat at the door of Chen Hui's room, and watched the fun with his chin propped up.
An Wenyi found it interesting, so he sat next to Wu Si and struck a similar pose.
Huang Miao's parents moved their stools closer and looked at Chen Hui eagerly.
Everyone spoke a sentence, and questions popped up one after another.
"Chen Hui, Huang Miao said he wants to learn from the carpenter in your village. Is that true?"
"How is the master's craftsmanship? What is his character like? He wouldn't cheat people into working for him for three years for nothing, right?"
"Just learn the skills, why can't you let me get married?"
"I heard from your aunt that the master has two sons. With such great skills, why didn't he pass them on to his sons?"
"Are you guys colluding to trick us?"
Chen Hui couldn't bear it.
After calming down for a while, he said to Huang Miao's parents:
"Uncle Huang and Auntie, don't worry. Master Jiang has a very good reputation."
"He is too old to do this anymore, and he didn't want his skills to go to waste, so he took me in as an apprentice."
After running around all morning, Chen Hui suddenly felt thirsty when he saw the table full of tea cups.
His hand moved among the cups on the table. An Wenjing saw it and pushed her own cup in front of Chen Hui.
Chen Hui winked at her, picked up the cup and drank it all.
"Then why don't you accept people from your own village?"
"Then why not teach his son?"
Huang Miao's parents asked another question.
Chen Hui looked at Lin Jiao and Chen Huihong in confusion.
They all knew about Jiang Houfa's situation.
"We've said it, but they still want to ask you again." Lin Jiao smiled helplessly.
Chen Hui nodded and said patiently:
"It's actually a two-way choice for him to accept a disciple. Not only does the master look for the disciple, but the disciple also looks for the master."
"There are many people from our village who have gone there, but either Master Jiang didn't like them, or they were very outstanding like me, and Master Jiang liked them at first sight. But I can't go three years without getting married."
"."
Huang Miao's parents didn't know how to respond to this.
"Bah, you are so shameless." Chen Huihong cursed with a smile.
"As for why Master Jiang didn't pass it on to his son, his two sons are very successful. One joined the county government, and the other joined a flocking factory."
Chen Hui spread his hands and let Huang Miao's parents figure out the rest.
With a stable job in hand, who would want to work as a carpenter in the village?
"If not for this, I wouldn't have the chance to learn this craft. I'm so lucky!" Huang Miao laughed out loud.
Huang Miao's mother glared at him and then grabbed Chen Hui to ask him questions.
Huang Miao's mood was not affected by her at all. She hid behind her parents and kept asking Chen Hui to explain it clearly.
Chen Hui ignored Huang Miao.
Not only did he patiently answer all of their questions, he even helped to add a few that they had not thought of.
It seems that Chen Hui’s answer is consistent with that of Lin Jiao and Chen Huihong.
Huang Miao's parents were completely relieved, and their faces showed a look of relief.
"Chen Hui, I have to thank you for this."
"If it weren't for you, Huang Miao wouldn't have had the chance to meet Master Jiang." "I heard that you were getting married and didn't plan to hold a wedding banquet. This is a little gift from your aunt and I."
Seeing Huang Miao’s father taking the red envelope, Chen Hui felt a little overwhelmed.
Because, what follows is an inevitable confrontation between physical strength and mental strength:
"No, no, how can I accept this money?"
"No, I have to accept it. Why can't I accept the wedding red envelope?"
"Oh, uncle, I really can't accept it. I'm not having a wedding banquet."
"We don't care whether there is a wedding banquet or not. This is a small gift from your aunt and I."
"no no no!"
"Take it, take it, take it!"
"Don't don't!"
"Don't give me face? Or do you think it's not enough? If you think it's not enough, uncle will give you more!"
Huang Miao's father scored the winning goal.
Chen Hui was defeated and took the red envelope and handed it to An Wenjing.
"Ah?! Give it to me?"
An Wenjing was a little surprised and looked at Chen Huihong nervously.
"Don't look at me, this is your business."
"Don't even mention giving you money. Even if he gives you his life, I don't care." Chen Huihong waved her hand.
When children grow up, it's time to let them go and live their own lives.
"Thank you, Auntie."
An Wenjing smiled at Huang Miao's mother and Chen Huihong and put the red envelope into her pocket.
"Hey! That's good." Huang Miao's mother smiled with satisfaction.
Anyway, the money will not run away, and Chen Hui will definitely return the gift when Huang Miao gets married.
The human relationships in the countryside are built up bit by bit through the exchanges of the same money flowing to your home and back to my home.
"Then we will go to Master Jiang first. Congratulations."
Huang Miao's father said this and took Huang Miao and her son away.
"Wenjing, let's go back and cook!"
"Huihong, come back for dinner later!"
Lin Jiao knew that Chen Huihong must have something to say to Chen Hui, so she took the two children and left.
Wu Si's eyes rolled and he said, "I'm going to see Gou Shun become his disciple!"
He got up and trotted out.
Now, only Chen Huihong and her nephew Chen Hui were left at home.
Chen Huihong stood up first, looked around the house upstairs and downstairs, and asked, "Did you clean it?"
"Don't you know who your nephew is?"
"How could I tidy up to this extent? It's so tidy." Chen Hui looked at the empty cup, stood up and poured some water from the kettle in the kitchen.
"How can you be like this? You let your wife work at home before you even get married?"
"You'll be laughed at if you tell others about it." Chen Huihong glared at him, unable to stop smiling.
"Tsk tsk tsk, this isn't even your niece's wife, and you're already siding with her."
"She did this on the day my uncle and I went to the sea. I didn't slack off and ask my wife to do it for me."
Chen Hui held the cup, leaned against the pillar at the kitchen door and talked upstairs.
"Wenjing is a good child. You must live a good life after marriage."
"Come, sit down, I'll tell you something serious."
Chen Huihong went downstairs and took out a big red shoulder bag from the room.
"It's such a big bag, could it be all money for me?" Chen Hui said jokingly.
"You think beautifully."
Chen Huihong cursed with a smile and took out a small cloth bag from her shoulder bag.
She placed the cloth bag in front of Chen Hui and happily motioned for him to open it and have a look.
"What is so precious?"
Chen Hui opened the cloth bag and looked up at Chen Huihong in surprise.
